Admissions Manager

The Admissions Manager is responsible for all functions of the Admissions Department including supervision of local, online, and international recruitment; and providing direction, research, and planning for all admission efforts. This position is responsible for growing and maintaining College enrollment goals by developing and implementing strategies for the Admissions Department. This position reports to the Director of Recruitment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading, developing and managing all Admissions Department staff including hiring, coaching/training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Develops and maintains departmental performance guidelines and metrics which are linked to strategic DMAC goals. Communicate, document and ensure staff understand and are working towards achievement of goals and metrics.
  • Develops and implements strategies for growing and maintaining all departmental goals including enrollment, conversion and retention goals.
  • Participates in student support functions including orientation, championing new student issues, and effectively working with other departments to enhance new student experience.
  • Develops and maintains admissions budget which supports DMAC campus budget/goals.
  • Responsible for generation of various reports related to admissions functions
  • Assists with coordination of Open House and other recruitment events to ensure maximum success and most effective use of resources.

Admissions Representative

The Admissions Representative is responsible for contacting prospective students to provide information regarding DMAC programs, enrollment process, and participating in DMAC recruiting events. Responsible for meeting start goals and maintaining projected start conversion ratio.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving weekly/monthly/intake individual semester start goals.
  • Maintaining projected start conversion ratio for each term as determined by Director of Recruitment.
  • Develop and adhere to an effective call strategy that includes communicating effective messages to potential students either through oral or written communications.
  • Create and maintains a daily strategic plan of activities including database management, effective call strategy and personal goal setting that will help prospective students through the enrollment process.
  • Provides detailed and reliable information to prospective students regarding DMAC online programs including providing accurate course and program information, admissions requirements/process, and degree options.
  • Maintains contact with current and prospective students by developing and maintaining a systematic and efficient follow-up process on pre-enrolled leads and enrolled students.
  • Responsible for maintaining organized lead records in SalesForce by entering information and updating records as necessary.
  • Responsible for scheduling and conducting individual presentations to prospective students, and participating in Open House and other recruiting events.
  • Partners with Student Finance/Business Office staff to ensure a seamless enrollment process for all students.

Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with marketing activities of DMAC, including advertising, design and production of collateral materials, social site maintenance and marketing research.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with marketing functions related to DMAC advertising campaign development including media evaluation, planning, budgeting and media advertising creative and production.
  • Responsible for the marketing of all DMAC programs, Admission events, and Social Media sites.
  • Achieves frequent, timely and positive social media coverage for DMAC and its programs across all available media.
  • Conduct competitive and marketing segmentation research.
  • Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, position is responsible for creative design and production of collateral material including graphic and creative design and working with vendors on quotes, production and final product delivery.
  • Analyze effectiveness of marketing materials and campaigns by tracking and measuring results.
  • Updating DMAC Facebook and Twitter pages by posting content related to digital media.
  • Maintaining a record of marketing inventory and materials.

The College Recruitment Specialist is responsible for assisting with the development and management of strategy for generating leads. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining external partnerships with high schools, community agencies and businesses and preparing and delivering presentations to prospective students and participating in DMAC recruiting events.

The Professor will be responsible for preparing syllabi and instructing students online and/or in a classroom environment (residential) as needed. Position is required to teach a full time course load which may be made up of both teaching and course development. The Professor is also required to hold office hours advise students, participate in professional development, assessment activities and attend faculty meetings. The Professor may also be required to attend orientation and training as it relates to the content and delivery of courses. Some courses may require evening and/or Saturday hours.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Teach full-time course load including teaching online and/or in classroom (residential) as needed.
  • Update and develop courses as assigned. Stay current in the field through professional development activities as planned with the Department Chair.
  • Keep students engaged in their studies through attendance tracking, engaging and challenging assignments, tutoring, fair and timely assessment, and mentorship.
  • Report to Administration any unusual student behaviors; submit incident reports and contact Department Chair as required.
  • Participate in student assessment activities, including portfolio/demo reel assessment, collecting and assessing embedded assignments, and analysis of assessments, in order to enhance the quality of the program(s).
  • Participate in faculty governance activities (faculty meetings, committee meetings, new course/program development, etc.)
  • Meet administrative deadlines, especially attendance taking, timely grading and online grade book entries, and final grade submissions.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior teaching experience at the college/university level is required. Online teaching experience preferred.

Program Coordinator/Professor

Job Description:

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, assessment and management of General Education courses. The Program Coordinator ensures that the course descriptions, textbooks and syllabi are consistent with those in the Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs. The Program Coordinator reviews the needs of the programs; hires, trains and supervises faculty; and ensures assessment activities are ongoing. In addition, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the Faculty Development Committee and its activities. This position reports the Dean of Academic Affairs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervision of all General Education (GE) faculty (on ground and/or online) including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management (performance reviews, classroom observations, development/coaching, professional development), scheduling, and approving adjunct agreements. Ensures that GE faculty members have the credentials required to teach their assigned courses utilizing Versatility Sheet.
  • Ensures that the GE courses are scheduled as required to meet student and College needs.
  • Responsible for creating new courses (on ground and/or online) and the required support materials as directed by Dean of Academic Affairs.
  • Supervises GE course delivery to ensure integrity and consistency of objectives and outcomes. Directs assessment analysis and plans implementation of changes for approval. Completes annual assessment of Student Learning Outcomes.
  • Participates in student retention initiatives including prevention of withdrawal, driving ongoing student registration, tracking and contacting attendance drop students, recently withdrawn students to return to the College, working with the Chairs, the Student Services Department, Student Finance Department and Accounting & Finance Department to enhance all aspects of student retention.
  • Chairs the Faculty Development Committee (minimum three meetings per year), the development of the annual Faculty Professional Development Calendar and the coordination of the Faculty Professional Development In-service Training events, as well as New Faculty Training and Orientation.
  • Holds regular meetings with Chairs and Dean of Academic Affairs, as well as industry leaders (Program Advisory Committee meetings) on program needs as well as assessment, planning and analysis. Holds regular (one per semester minimum) departmental (GE) faculty meetings to communicate policy changes, gather faculty input and assessment data, and inform faculty of curriculum needs.
  • Maintains up-to-date Credit by Examination tests/coordination/grading for GE courses and provide Accuplacer support.
  • Responsible for teaching a part-time course load as needed. Provides classroom coverage for GE instructors when deemed necessary. This may also include course preparation, academic research, professional development, student assessment, and supervision over student organizations and events.
  • Responsible for creating an engaging learning environment for students and assists faculty develop their own learning environments in the classroom and on the College’s Learning Management System.
  • Provides coverage for Chairs or Academic Advisor as needed on issues of student disciplinary action, student advising, faculty performance, and course delivery
  • Participates in required meetings (Campus Effectiveness Planning Committee, Program Advisory Committee, commencement, retention, placement, registration, faculty and A-Team).
  • Participates in required meetings (Institutional Effectiveness Plan, retention, placement, registration).
  • Participates in faculty activities (meetings, assessments, presentations, etc.). Participates in student activities (DMAC Experience, presentations, etc.).

 

Knowledge/Skills:
