Admissions Representative

 

Department: Admissions
Job Type: Full-time

 

The Admissions Representative is responsible for contacting prospective students to provide information regarding DMAC programs, enrollment process, and participating in DMAC recruiting events. Responsible for meeting start goals and maintaining projected start conversion ratio.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving weekly/monthly/intake individual semester start goals.
  • Maintains projected start conversion ratio for each term as determined by Director of Admissions.
  • Develops and adheres to an effective call strategy that includes communicating effective messages to potential students either through oral or written communications.
  • Creates and maintains a daily strategic plan of activities including database management, effective call strategy and personal goal setting that will help prospective students through the enrollment process.
  • Provides detailed and reliable information to prospective students regarding DMAC online and/or residential programs including providing accurate course and program information, admissions requirements/process, and degree options.
  • Maintains contact with current and prospective students by developing and maintaining a systematic and efficient follow-up process on pre-enrolled leads and enrolled students.
  • Responsible for maintaining organized lead records in Salesforce by entering information and updating records as necessary.
  • Responsible for scheduling and conducting individual online presentations and/or campus tours to prospective students, and participating in Open House and other recruiting events.
  • Partners with Student Finance and Academic staff to ensure a seamless enrollment process for all students.

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective communications and working relationships with other employees, students and their families as well as the general public.
  • Must maintain professional appearance and communication style at all times.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as function successfully within a team.
  • Regular, reliable attendance which adheres to assigned work schedule including proper log in/log out for time recording.
  • Establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years proven track record of success in college admissions required.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft windows, word, excel, and outlook.
  • Knowledge of CampusVue and Salesforce preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

 

Educational Requirements:

Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Adjunt Faculty - Animation

Job Type: Part-time

 

Adjunct Faculty are responsible for preparing syllabi and instructing students in a classroom environment (residential) and online as needed. The Faculty is also required to hold office hours, advise students, participate in professional development, assessment activities and attend faculty meetings. The Adjunct Faculty may also be required to attend orientation and training as it relates to the content and delivery of courses. Some courses may require evening and/or Saturday hours.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Teach part-time course load including teaching in classroom (residential) and online as needed.
  • Stay current in the field through professional development activities as planned with the Department Chair.
  • Keep students engaged in their studies through attendance tracking, engaging and challenging assignments, tutoring, fair and timely assessment, and mentorship.
  • Report to Administration any unusual student behaviors; submit incident reports and contact Department Chair as required.
  • Participate in student assessment activities, including portfolio/demo reel assessment, collecting and assessing embedded assignments, and analysis of assessments, in order to enhance the quality of the program(s).
  • Participate in faculty governance activities (faculty meetings, committee meetings, new course/program development, etc.)
  • Meet administrative deadlines, especially attendance taking, timely grading and online grade book entries, and final grade submissions.


Job Requirements:

  • Prior teaching experience at the college/university level.
  • Industry experience highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively communicate with students to help them achieve their educational goals.

 

Educational Requirements:

Master’s degree required, with a minimum of 18 hours of coursework in animation or related field.

The Professor may also be required to attend orientation and training as it relates to the content and delivery of courses. Some courses may require evening and/or Saturday hours.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Teach full-time course load including teaching in classroom (residential) and online as needed.
  • Update and develop courses as assigned. Stay current in the field through professional development activities as planned with the Department Chair.
  • Keep students engaged in their studies through attendance tracking, engaging and challenging assignments, tutoring, fair and timely assessment, and mentorship.
