Spotlight on // Michael Brako
Several years ago, Michael Brako drove a fork lift for a company in Minnesota. On a tour of the organization’s headquarters, he was shown the equipment with which the marketing team produced ad videos. Michael said, “Hey, I can do that,” so his employers gave him a small motion graphics project. Unbeknownst to them, Michael had actually never done this type of work. He spent a series of round-the-clock days familiarizing himself with the software, completed the project, and was promoted into the marketing department. Within a year, he built up the company’s production studio and had a hand in developing all their promotional and training videos.
