Faculty Highlights & Industry Partnerships

DMAC faculty has been credited for their work along side other companies like: *Gliphx, developers of games like "Advent rising" for X-box and PC *Mods, a California based company of production and post production for film and TV.

We are very proud of our talented Faculty members and our partnership with MetaMotion. Call for a tour of our Motion Capture Studio and the rest of our facility, a community of digital artists created by digital artists.
     
Artists and Execs from Industry Powerhouses visit DMAC
Portfolio Reviews:    

DMAC students will have an invaluable experience during their upcoming portfolio reviews. On this day we will have a visit from John Musumeci who has worked with Warner Brothers, Columbia Tri-Star, Sony Pictures and Fox Sports, among many other companies.
Radiant Square Also joining DMAC is Ahmed Shehata from Radiant Square, the creators of "Final Rig." Mr. Shehata worked at Blue Sky as Technical Director for both "Ice Age" Productions. Students will be able to get feedback on their portfolio and will also have a Question and Answer session with both visitors.

 

He also shared his experiences on working in Desktop Publishing for a major publication. He was very entertaining and gave the students many inside tips of the trade.

Student Highlight
Bachelor of Fine Arts Graphic Design student, Laura Cerezo Rivera, has designed an advertisement that is featured in “American Art Collector” magazine for the December 2006 issue. Laura is a second year student that joined us from Puerto Rico. Keep up the great work Laura! Students can enter our Summer Semester starting June 11th, 2007.  Call the DMAC admissions department to learn how you can become part of it all at DMAC.

Speaking Engagements:  
Create MagazineNaomi Stern’s Desktop Publishing Class was fortunate to have Donald Francis as a Guest Speaker on December 4th. Mr. Francis is an Executive at “Create” Magazine. He discussed several topics with the students regarding the business aspect of Graphic Design such as networking, establishing relationships in the industry, and building better sales leads.
