The Student Services Department at Digital Media Arts College is here to offer students a variety of activities outside the classroom, as well as guidance in finding local housing during their stay at DMAC.
Looking for something to do outside of class? Games, competitions, social events, student government, and trips are available to all of our students. Our students know how to get together and stay involved in this burgeoning hub of arts and entertainment. We're interested in what you're interested in and we're devoted to making your stay as active and comfortable as possible.
DMAC does not provide or find housing for students. Students can contact Park Partners Residential to find convenient and affordable housing solutions. They may be able to assist with finding a roommate as well. Click the below links to learn more about these three complexes in Boca Raton.
DMAC has partnered with EDURENT to help you find the ideal student housing solution. Let EDUrent get you a deal on housing that suits you. They can even pair you with an awesome roommate if you need it. EDUrent also gives you the tools to raise funds and pay for your housing. Student Disability Services
DMAC is committed to providing qualified students with a disability an equal opportunity to access the benefits, rights, and privileges of college services, programs, and activities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Student Services assists qualified students with disabilities in acquiring reasonable and appropriate accommodations and in supporting their success at DMAC. All requests for accommodation should be accompanied by appropriate documentation verifying the disability, such as physician’s orders. Students who believe they are in need of accommodations should contact Student Services on campus or by telephone at 561.391.1148.
Student Clubs and Organizations
Students are encouraged to join clubs or even create ones. There is also a Student Advisory Council that works directly with the Chief Academic Officer on ways to improve DMAC and the student experience. Students are encouraged to volunteer to help with events, such as the annual Halloween Party and graduation. We are committed to strong student community.
Digital Media Arts College students, faculty and staff are encouraged to register to vote and participate in local, state and federal government as afforded by their constitutional rights. Use the above link to register to vote.
Federal Work Study
The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program is a needs-based employment program subsidized by the federal government that allows students to earn wages in special student employment positions. International students are not eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study (FWS) program. Enrolled degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to receive consideration for FWS. Students must demonstrate sufficient financial need to receive FWS, as determined from information reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA).
Off Campus Employment
DMAC is conveniently located near a large variety of businesses that offer part-time or full-time employment opportunities for our students. The Director of Career Services maintains an updated list of local employers with contact names and numbers and can assist with resume development, interview techniques, and job searches.
