How does eLearning work?DMAC’s eLearning programs give you incredible flexibility and allow you to achieve your career goals without altering your schedule or relocating to a campus location. Everything from submitting classwork to interacting and communicating with others is done completely through our electronic learning management system – Canvas ™.
Are eLearning degrees accredited? All DMAC online degrees are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, which is a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.
How does eLearning differ from traditional learning? The only difference is that you’re learning everything online. As an eLearning student, you’re taking the same classes, receiving the same quality instruction, and earning the same valuable degree as our traditional students. However, you have the added flexibility and convenience that comes from learning online.
Will the eLearning Faculty be available when I need them?DMAC’s eLearning Faculty makes students their top priority. They can be reached through email, phone and Canvas ™ communications.
Is Financial Aid available? All prospective students seeking online degrees are eligible to participate in Financial Aid. Our Student Finance Department will help you determine whether or not you are eligible to receive financial assistance. In addition, they can also help you personalize a payment plan for your education.
How It Works
How our eLearning courses work:Because everything is conducted completely online, fitting courses around the rest of life’s demands is much easier. We realize that everyone has different schedules and our online courses are available 24/7 to accommodate every one of them.
Every aspect of our eLearning program is designed to provide students with an exciting, collaborative, and inspiring learning experience. To deliver this dynamic experience, DMAC uses Canvas™ – an electronic learning management system. Canvas™ lets instructors place resources online for students to access. Canvas™ is also integrated with over 100 external applications such as YouTube and Google docs, which allows instructors to provide enhanced learning opportunities and demonstrations. Students use Canvas™ to complete course requirements, collaborate, and communicate with other participants and instructors.
